MODERN COMFORT

This custom build sits in a private neighborhood in Reno, where the clients who are home’s builders came to us with architectural plans in hand and vision for the interiors: a modern home that felt cool, textured, comfortable, and anything but boring. My job was to help bring their style to life in a way that felt elevated yet still comfortable and livable for their pets and family. We used natural stones, layered materials, and bold contrast in the color palette to bring visual interest to every space. Every detail was intentional, from the hand carved marble tile behind the tub to a dimensional, knit-inspired feature wall in the primary bedroom. Even in the dining space we were able to add texture though sculptural woven pendants. The furniture was selected to suit everyday life without taking away from the architectural and design moments. The result is a home that feels elevated but comfortable for a busy family. After the home was complete, the client shared something that stuck with me: every material felt like something she would’ve chosen for herself, if only she’d known how.
